Priya Darbari brings over 25 years of diverse experience in education, from Montessori teaching to leadership roles as assistant principal, principal, director, and assistant superintendent before becoming Superintendent.
Darbari has successfully implemented programs for underserved students, developed a NASA internship for high school seniors, and introduced innovative initiatives like Project Lead the Way (PLTW) and renowned literacy programs. Priya’s efforts have focused on fostering positive school climates, designing state-of-the-art classrooms, and strengthening English Learner programs.
As Superintendent, she has spearheaded early literacy initiatives and is leading her district through strategic planning, ensuring a clear vision for student success. She continues to drive meaningful change by fostering innovation, closing achievement gaps, and ensuring equitable education for all students.
